AirAsia Launches Phuket To Bali Flights

A direct air link between Asia's two most popular resorts destinations Phuket and Bali has been announced.
The much anticipated AirAsia connection will commence services on December 17th.
A special on line promotion between November 8 – 14th titled 'From Paradise…To Paradise' is available at THB1,490 from Phuket.
Promotional fares booked are good from December 17, 2010 to November 10, 2011.
For tourism watchers the route is being viewed as a positive for both Thailand and Indonesia. It remains to be seen how effective packaging of the two destinations can be done, and to what markets.
For property the ability to reinforce links between the two leading resort real estate market could see some interesting new alliances.
