Alila Separate from Thailand, Maldives and Laos Hotels

The upscale boutique chain Alila Hotels and Resorts hasparted ways on the management of properties in the Maldives, Thailand and Laos.
In a note sent to travel agents the management company confirmed that effective April 1st the group would cease operating Thailand's Alila Cha-Am, Alila Villas Hadahaa in the Maldives and in Laos Alila Luang Prabang and 3 Nagas.
All four properties have controlling ownership by Thailand's KS Group or its affiliated. No plans have been announced for future branding or management of the properties.
Alila does have new openings slated this year in Bangalore India and Siem Reap Cambodia.
