AMCHAM Phuket Green Tourism Practices Seminar

The Greater Phuket AMCHAM Chapter and SEEK will hold a Green Tourism Seminar on Friday August 24th at the Holiday Inn Patong.
With tourism being the leading industry on the island, the forum will address how the sector can work towards a better environment.
Find out how green sustainable programs ranging from recycling, energy and water savings can help. Whether you work in a hotel, hospitality, property development or run a business this practical seminar by leading experts will help take a first step towards contributing to Phuket.
Scheduled speakers are Arnfinn Oines – Soneva Resorts, Anthony Lark – Trisara, Ty Collins – JW Marriott Khao Lak and Moran Layberry – Holiday Inn Patong.
The program will hold discussions on CSR initiatives such as EarthCheck and Green Leaf. LEED certification and basis sustainable programs.
Registration starts are 4:00 pm with the session running from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm. Networking drinks to follow. Attendance is open to everyone for THB100 and including refreshments afterwards.
