ARRIVALS Centara Appoints Danny McCafferty

Well known hotel executive Danny McCafferty has been appointed as General Manager and Regional Director at the Centara Grand Beach Resort Samui.
McCafferty is best known for his longtime posting at the Dusit Thani Bangkok. His hospitality career has included key positions at Mandarin Oriental, Dorchester and Hyde Park.
Other news in Samui has Michael Holehouse who heads up the Tongsai Bay Resort and the island's THA (Thai Hotels Association) chapter will be stepping down by mid-year. Holehouse has been a leading force in promoting the island and has worked in the region for much of his career which includes time with Westin, Shangri-La, Sheraton and Dusit International.
