One of Bali’s key  inbound tourism markets has experienced a significant disruption with low-cost carrier Tigerair temporarily suspending services from Australia.

Widespread cancellations have reportedly occurred since yesterday and are expected to continue for at least the new few days.

The suspension comes under an action by the Indonesian government over administrative compliance and both parties are working to sort this out according to ABC News.

In the meantime Bali hotels are reporting that there are a volume of stranded passengers and also cancellations from travelers who cannot get a flight to the island.
