Bali International Airport Arrivals Up 22.5% In 2016

Bali’s tourism growth is continuing at breakneck speed as international passenger arrivals scored a record high 4.9 million for the year.
According to Bali Discovery the year-on-year growth ranked in at 22.55%.
While over 1.1 million Australians arrived last year, Mainland China is nearly the magic one million level and is expected to top the overseas crown in 2017.
Other bright spots in the arrival story are the U.K. and India back of stronger airlift to the island.
Domestic tourism to Bali still holds larger market share than overseas visitors and this is not expected to change in the year ahead.
