Bali Sees Regional Shift

As Phuket continues to revel in the dynamic duo market's of Mainland China and Russia, Asia's other leading resort destination Bali has seen a regional twist.
As per online news source BaliDiscovery.com 90% of total foreign arrivals for the period of January through July this year were regional.
With just over 2 million visitors through the period, if momentum is maintained the Bali could hit 3.8 million overseas arrivals by year end.
Top Asian growth markets are China, Malaysia and Singapore.
Australia is considered to be a regional market with over 500,000 first half arrivals this year.
