Bali Shoots For 2.5 Million Visitors

Key destination resort Bali has seen a 12% increase in visitor arrivals in the first half of 2010 with expectations for full year numbers to top 2.5 million.
Leading geographical source market Australia continued to surge and China has shot up to number 3 in the rankings. Defying trends elsewhere the UK actually saw growth despite it's shrinking currency while one of the hardest hit markets is Japan who have hit a freefall.
For those keen to compare Phuket H1 of this year tallied in 1.74 million so the island is well on its way hit the 3 million plus marker.
