Bangkok Airport Rail Link Closing

Bangkok's Express Airport Rail Link will see the Phayathai route closed from April 14th for maintenance.
Express passengers may go to Makkasan station as an alternative.
The local city service route between Suvarnabhumi and Phayathai will continue to operate so this is a good alternative, though longer traveling time.
It is expected to take one year for the express route to resume to Phayathai given the long maintenance period for each train.
The airport train service has continued to gain in popularity especially at times when political demonstrations have created more traffic congestion.
