Bhutan Pushes Electric Cars

The emerging country of Bhutan has continued on its pathway of distinct DNA with the shift of government automobiles and taxi's to electric powered vehicles.
As reported in the Bangkok Post the acquisition of Nissan Green Leaf cars will take place in early 2014.
Bhutan is pushing the initiative as a way to establishing itself as one a green global center.
There continue to be talks with other electric car manufacturers such as Tesla, with the changeover process for taxi's expected to take place on a staggered basis.
