Big Trees Go Green

One Phuket sustainable initiative that often is overlooked in the island's Big Tree Club.
It is headed up by Thai national Anawut Prapunwong who is a landscape architect.
I read a recent press report about his inspiration in the Phuket Gazette and how the local spin-off from a Bangkok initiative is taking root.
Most of the members of the organization are landscape designer and want to ensure the island continues to respect green areas.
The organization also teams up with many local government and public sectors for parks and other sustainable preservation drives.
Hats off to Phuket's own Big Tree Club for realizing the important of staying green.
