While the financial downturn has travelers cutting costs and shopping for the best deals, many hotels have turned to innovative ways to enhance their bottom lines as average rates and occupancies spin lower and lower.
In this case hotel guests are continuing to hit those pay per view porn movies which is bucking the spend trend. Media analysts have estimated in the US $139 billion dollar hotel industry that adult movies pump through some US$500 million in revenue. Estimates have been made that 90% and above of all paid movies watched are classified in the porn or adult category.
For hoteliers trying to increase cash flows and fine turn their bottom lines, excellent yields in the area range of 60-80% are proving an attractive incentive to make the move to porn.
