Bocconcino New Surin Hot Spot

Yesterday I visited the brand new Bocconcino Italian Deli on the Surin Strip.
Set up in a partnership with well known owner and chef of Kalim's Acqua Restaurant the new outlet has been worth waiting for.
Fresh Italian breads, pastries, delicatessen and gourmet food. A superb selection of wines and meat can be consumed in the dining area for just an additional 10% service charge.
Alessando has made his mark on the island, which started with a stint as Executive Chef at the then Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket.
Right next door I ran into Singapore businessman Kevin Boland who is finishing up a new Cuban Mexican eatery called Lucky 13, and expected to open soon.
Bocconcino is located on the opposite side of the street and up a bit from the Surin Plaza.
