Booze Is Back In Phuket Restaurants

Category: Tourism, Posted:23 Jun 2021 | 08:21 am

Good news in the lead up to the Sandbox, the alcohol ban in island restaurants has been lifted.

Alcohol can now be served in eateries until 23:00 daily.

Pubs and entertainment venues are still closed for the moment. Special events up to 200 people are allowed.

Expect more reforms on restrictions in the days leading up to the 1st July Sandbox opening.

For Phuket’s restaurants this is welcome relief to a battered industry which is a vital part of island tourism.
