Category: Tourism, Posted:13 Dec 2010 | 08:38 am

Leading Asian low cost airline carrier AirAsia has announced a new Thai joint venture set to provide 3G service in the country.
The new entity has been named Tune Talk Thailand, with the tagline “Now Everyone Can Talk.”
A key business strategy of providing a flat rate single SIM card for the region was outlined in an article in today's Bangkok Post.
Cards will be sold on AirAsia flights which will top 30 million travelers this year.
While Virgin's Richard Branson was the early innovator of a brand hierarchy under Virgin into various sectors, Tony Fernandez has clearly led the Asian bandwagon.
The Tune hotels.com brand is another AirAsia offshoot which is currently undergoing a high frequency expansion drive.
