A lot can happen when you leave the island. Or not.
My morning latte is punctuated by news of a Lion Air jet colliding with a cow in Indonesia. Note to self avoid flying Lion anywhere.
Nok Air's slippery slide in Trang still has the southern Thai airport closed.
Here in Bangkok all talk of things political. I'm staying away from that Facebook "Like" button.
Meanwhile property entries on the Thai Stock Exchange by Ananda and Pace seem to plunge into gloom.
It's only Thursday and the mood is grim. Tomorrow of course those emails are rolling in what will happen on Surin Beach. Yawn.
