BREAKING NEWS 17 Dead in Bangkok Street Mayhem

Leading news source CNN is reporting as of Saturday afternoon that there have been 17 deaths reported and 141 injured in the Government Red Shirt crackdown. Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva has been conspicuously absent from media outlets for the past day and expectations are that the combined Army and Police forces are attempting to disperse the remaining demonstrators from the Bangkok Central commercial district.
In what is shaping up as a namesake for what the Mexican's term 'Dia de los Muertos' or the 'day of the dead,' concern is rising over expectations that as darkness falls in the capital, that more violence will ensure.
