Budget Hotels Headed For Petrol Stations

A rising budget hotel chain named Fortune D is looking at establishing a nationwide network of properties located at petrol stations across Thailand.

In a joint venture between PTT and CP Land as covered by The Nation, an initial target of 50 hotels has been set.

An expected pricing point of THB700 per night is bring looked along flexible check in and check out times.

The Fortune branding might be revised later depending on the JV’s final assessment.

CP Land is currently expanding their hospitality asset base with new properties in Nakhon Pathom and another is in the pipeline in Tak Province.

Also in the pipeline for Fortune D is Khao Yai, Buriram, Nakhon Si Thammarat, as well as a convention center in Khon Kaen.
