Lombok's longstanding Mandalika market planned destination resort is again making sounds about signs of development.
Under the custody of the Bali Tourism Development Corporation, the project covers a land area in excess of 1,000 hectares with 7.5 kilometers of shoreline.
The key driving point continues to be easy access to the new Lombok International Airport which opened last year and nearby deep water port.
While on paper the development remains an elephant in the room, everyone seems to be waiting for the investor next to them to blink and start the ball rolling.
