Carbon Footprints In The Sand

Category: , Posted:03 Nov 2011 | 06:00 am

Clearly the hotel and tourism industry remains at odds with themselves over lowering carbon footprints.
Air transport or for that matter almost any of travel by trains, planes or automobiles can rarely vie with the oddly boring staycation.
It's a bit like going on an all night drinking binge and then having an egg white frittata and one of those slimy green heath drinks for breakfast the next morning.
Is it recover, a come from behind victory or just an altered reality.
We do applaud the hotels who work with great initiatives like Earthcheck and perhaps sustainability in our hotel world is one of checks and balances.
Now if I can just follow up the lemongrass short with a sharp double espresso – free trade and organic of course.
