Centara Enters Into Management Agreement with West Sands

Thailand's Centara Hotels and Resorts have confirmed that a management agreement has been entered into for the West Sands Phuket project in Mai Khao.
Plans call for the property to expand over the next two years from the current 316 keys up to 784 units and it will be rebranded as a Centara Grand.
This marks Centara's 62nd hotel under management with 11,000 rooms under their various brands.
Clearly a synergy will be there for Centara who already operate a branded property in Pattaya with a large waterpark, and now this will match the Phuket offering with Splash Jungle.
