Chedi Chiang Mai Embroiled In Management Dispute

On the heels of news that the Chedi Chang Mai is being reflagged as an Anantara is that add on the GHM is contesting the management of the property.
According to leading travel media source TTG Asia GHM has posted on their website that they are pursuing legal actions over what they term of be unlawful termination.
Singapore-based GHM is no stranger to contract disputes given their headline grabbing removal from the Setai in Miami Beach. h
The flag change is the second at the top of the chain scale in Chiang Mai, with the recent departure of Mandarin Oriental from the luxury Dhara Devi property.
There are rumors in the northern tourism capital that the former Chedi is looking at introducing branded hotel residences.
Minor Hotel Group has been active in the residential led hospitality real estate sector with the St. Regis Bangkok and Four Seasons Samui. The group is in the midst of launching the multi-million dollar villas at the new Anantara Residences Phuket.
