Chiang Mai Beats Phuket To The Punch

Public officials are expecting the new THB1.8 billon Chiang Mai Convention Center to open in early 2012. Management for the facility is undecided and expectations are for a public bidding.
While in Phuket the long awaited Convention and Exhibition Center in Mai Khao is moving at a somewhat modest pace, with public hearings held recently in line with the environmental approval needed in order to commence site work.
