China Hi-Speed Rail Link To Thailand

In an ongoing saga the mega transportation project of a high-speed rail link between Thailand and China continues to seek higher ground.
While early plans called for an ASEAN link, the government now has shifted the priority to a China link.
An initial phase would be connecting Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
In nearby Laos a high-speed connection is already under construction, which will lead from Vientiane to Kunming.
