One of Mainland China's surging aviation success stories is low-cost airline carrier Spring.
Borne out of a travel agency under the same name the carrier is now reaching out into popular international routes such as Phuket and Bangkok from Shanghai.
I read an analysis of Spring's operation in a business paper recently and one of the strengths of the carrier is the fact that last year they operated at a 95% seat/km ratio while the broader sector sits in the mid 70's.
Clearly the efficiency of the airline is fueling a mounting expansion plan, so expect to see more of the Spring.
