David Keen's Hip Phuket Hotels

Category: Hotels, Posted:18 Apr 2009 | 11:41 am

While thephuketinsider.com was in Bangkok I spoke to media guru David Keen who is Managing Director of leading agency Keen Media and the subject of hip hotels in Phuket came up. David's Top 5 in no particular order are – Anantara Resort and Spa, Indigo Pearl, The Yamu, Sri Panwa and Sala Phuket.
Keen Media have done a number of branding exercises and product launches in Phuket including Yamu, Royal Phuket Marina, and Indigo Pearl. They work extensively with hospitality groups such as Anantara and Per Aquum.
The island in recent history has seen some very successful independent hotels developed who remain competitive and in many instances outperform chain properties with the likes of Twin Palms, Phuket Pavilions and Sri Panwa.
