Demolisher Files 4 Cases Against West Coast Properties

The Department of Natonal Parks, Wildlife and Plant Conservation has reportedly filed police cases of encoarchment against 4 prominent coastal properties which are alleged to be in Sirnath National Park.
These are the Pullman Arcadia Resort in Nai Thon, Peninsula Spa and Resort Nai Yang, and La Colline and a French national Bernard Gauthier with a large ultra villa in Layan.
While media reports have continued to bombast about impending demolition of luxury properties, the process now looks set to go to court with word that the owners will clearly contest the cases.
Damrong Pideth who has been tagged "The Demolisher" remains a mainstay in news reports, both local and Bangkok lawyers are seeing a hive of activity in legal defence cases rising out of the title deed dispute.
The bottom line continues to be the validity of existing titles issued and how Thailand's Land Department will address the issue.
