Direct Suvarnabhumi Don Muang Flights Coming Soon
News just in has a new start-up airline looking to offer direct flights between Bangkok's Suvarnabhumi and Don Muang airports.
Aimed at the niche no cost segment, the airline will be named NoSo Air.
Rather than plying the skies with expensive Boeing or Airbus craft, Thai entrepreneur Noi Suk San has retrofitted a fleet of aging tuk-tuks, equipping them with jet engines and wings.
Taking the cue form AirAsia, the new venture will sell advertising space on the side of the flying tuk-tuks. So far M150, Mekong whiskey, and San Som have been signed up.
Rather than tapping into online ticket sales, passengers are able to negotiated airfares directly with their driver, back of the sales slogan – "up to you."
Expansion plans have the new airline looking at adding in trans Phuket flights once formal plans for the Southern Rawai airport are announced later this year.
