Eco Friendly Edible Food Wrapping

Researchers in France have come up with an innovative way to reduce plastic food packaging.
Called "WikiCells" an outer coating is created similar to nature's way of protecting vegetables and fruit with a skin.
This edible membrane is a mixture of food particles, calcium and algae.
A new manufacturing plant is under development in the US and interest from institutional food companies is a good sign of the products potential.
