Google Street View Brings Phuket Alive

Just when you thought it was safe to go outside, out comes Google Street View for Phuket.
Thailand now plays heavily into the Google strategy with the Bangkok office opened and Street View covering such top locations as our own island, Bangkok and Chiang Mai.
As for privacy, faces and license plate numbers on cars and motorbikes are blurred but the detail on the images is incredible.
Whether the devil is in the detail, remains to be seen but if you want to surf the streets of Phuket without every leaving your couch, now there is Google Street View.
