Growing Chain Absolute to Manage Chardara Resort

Category: Hotels, Posted:17 Apr 2009 | 08:07 am

Chandara Resort & Spa on Phuket's east coast in Ao Por will be reflagged with the appointment of management group Absolute. With views of Phang Nga Bay and overlooking Jumeirah Private Island the property will be renamed Absolute Resort and Spa. Within this year the group will open the doors on Absolute Nakalay Beach Resort and Absolute Bangla Suites which are both in the final stages of development.
Presently the growing chain has 3 properties in Phuket it manages along with expansion plans in Koh Samui and the eastern seaboard. Given the current tourism challenges in the market, we are likely to see further consolidation by independent properties towards branding or strategic alliances as they try to extend their customer base.
