Holiday Inn Express and Tune Hit Patong

Tomorrow is the opening of the 276 room Holiday Inn Express Patong Beach Central.
I visited the property today and have to say it's one of the most impressive select service hotels I've seen in Southeast Asia.
The design is well executed and from a brand perspectiive the idea of bringing this product to a resort destination hits the target.
It's an extremely efficient property which pulls all the right buttons, featuring a bright and attractive Great Room just off the lobby.
Dominic Egger is the General Manager. Opening rates start at THB1,999 plus plus.
Next week on the 28th will be another Patong debut with the Tune rolling out.
With a prime location on the middle road this 144 hotel is expected to hit the ground running.

For the budget and economy hotel sector in Phuket both of these hotels look to raise the bar in terms of offerings.
