Hotel Management Company Ejected By Thugs

Category: Hotels, Posted:29 Jun 2011 | 06:00 am

Whoever said the hotel business doesn't rank up in the worlds most dangerous professions never managed a hotel in Thailand.
Case in point is the situation at the J.B. Hatyai hotel where a large group of men closed off the hotel and reportedly forcibly ejected guests and the hotel management company.
Of course there is nothing black and white in this, while the company that operated and leased the property had done so from a local bank, the property was sold off and the new owners wanted to take over. This is exactly what they did.
Now both a contractual and legal quagmire exists, but the common hotel term of 'walking guests' might be called to mind.
