Hotels Tap Into Starbuck's Meeting Model

Have you have walked into a Starbuck's and realized aside from a few people silently working on the new great novel, that everyone else is having a meeting?
Hotels have seen a steady shift of business folk take on informal meetings at coffee shops and cafes.
Marriott recently rolled out a new online initiative named Workspace on Demand which allows the booking of public areas, lobbies, meeting rooms and communal F & B areas.
The new program is web and app based in cooperation with provider LiquidSpace.
