Indonesian Lawmakers Propose Total Liquor Ban

Media reports are spreading over a proposed new bill in Indonesia for submission to the parliament body next year.
The bill would ban all alcoholic drinks and impose a two-year jail sentence of those found guilty of breaking the law.
Resort destination Bali is caught up in the widespread controversy which is being driven by the Islamic United Development Party.
Whether the bill will go forward is still unknown, but the public relations spotlight is certainly unwelcome to South East Asia's biggest economy.
