Indonesian Tourism Pioneer Joop Ave Passes Away

One of Asia's leading tourism pioneers Joop Ave passed away recently in Singapore.
He was 79 at the time of his death.
Ave was a long-standing Minister of Tourism for Indonesia and is widely crediting with promoting mainstrean travel to the country.
He also served as Chairman for leading tourism organization PATA.
