Karaoke Rules On Superyachts

Asia's roaring economic boom is creating a new breed of million and billionaires.
As ultra villas and superyachts now become key objects of desire, designers are not being forced to look at the changing demographic of purchasers.
Reading a recent article in the Wall Street Journal the writer waxed on about the new astute Chinese superyacht market and what product changes were being asked.
The top two were more shaded areas and desks along with karaoke rooms.
Forget the Westerners view of bronzing in the sun, the new market was asking for more posh facilities tailors to their individual likes.
The piece went on to talk about the emerging destination of Sanya (the Hawaii of China) and how one broker along sold eight high-end yachts to mainland Chinese at a recent marine exhibition.
Perhaps we better check if the Amanpuri has any plans for a new karaoke lounge?
