One of our favorite hideaway spots in Koh Samui is the Magic Alembic Rum Distillery.
Opened in 2003 by Caribbean born Elisa Gabrel and her husband Michel, the charming hole in the wall includes a small bar.
Unique locally distilled rums include traditional, lemon, pineapple, coconut and orange.
Located on the southern end of the island this is a great place to stop and sample some very tasty rums.
