Well known Krabi resort Lai Thai is being redeveloped into upscale hotel managed apartments.
Developer Robert Reynold's has citied growing demand for family style accommodations with kitchen facilities as prompting the move.
New configurations are studio, one and two bedroom units and penthouses. Legal structuring is under leasehold provisions given an anticipated large foreign demand.
Pricing points start at THB3.5 to 13.5 million.
Located in the main tourist area of Ao Nang Beach the former bungalow property operated for 15 years as a resort.
