Langkawi Targets 3 Million Tourists

Phuket's southern destination neighbor in Malaysia, Langkawi has said it wants to grow the tourism market to three million annual visitors.
An aggressive timeline is targeting the goal by 2015, though the tourism infrastructure lags significantly behind Phuket, or Bali.
Perhaps the biggest impediment remains airlift, as the island simply is not easy to get to from outside of Malaysia.
