Is there life after hotels? Just ask former Langham Hotels and Resorts front man Brett Butcher.
I recently ran into Brett in Sydney where he was showing off his latest vintage from the Soumah of Yarra Valley vineyard.
Brett left Hong Kong to concentrate on the wine venture which has turned into a full-time vocation.
Life indeed is short and yes there is often more to being an employee and taking a swing for the fences. Well done Brett.
