First came Malaysia Airlines first baby ban in first class.
A resulting controversy resulted with both pats on the back and jabs from different demographics.
Now for those traveling the two tier Airbus A380, a ban on children in the upper deck will be imposed as of the beginning of July.
While economy class has seats in both the upper and lower decks, kids under 12 will be relegated downstairs.
As the low-cost carriers in the region continue to proliferate, Malaysia's legacy carrier looks to take on some USP's in order to gain some market share.
