Maldives Tapping Into Phuket Villa Gold

Luxury branded villas have become ingrained in the Phuket property scene for more then a decade and a half.
Now high profile resort destination the Maldives is looking to cash in on the hotel managed real estate bandwagon.
One recent launch of note is the 12 Blues Resort and Spa which is developing 33 villas.
Pricing points fall under the USD2 million dollar marker and rental returns are expected to be high given the high level of average room rates in the market.
A selection of over water and beachfront villas are highlighting the new entry.
