Mekong Tourism Forum Set In Chiang Rai

This year's edition of the Mekong Tourism Forum (MTF) 2012 will take place in Chiang Rai.
Scheduled for June 13th to 14th the event theme will be ""20/20 Vision: Building on Two Decades of GMS Cooperation."
As a grouping the GMS (Greater Mekong Sub-region) includes Thailand, China, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Vietnam.
According to the organizing body GMS countries are collectively targeting 52 million international tourist arrivals and US$53 billion in sub-regional tourism revenue by 2015.
Venue for the event is the Dusit Island Resort.
