Myanmar Rises To 2 Million International Visitors

Nearby Myanmar has continued to buzz with the country registering over 2 million overseas visitors in 2013.
Looking into the numbers though, close to 900,000 of these were by air, and the remaining coming overland or by sea.
From a tourism perspective the 1.2 million overland would be considered larger comprised of border trade, similar to some of the multipliers that Malaysia pumps into visitor numbers.
That said, but airlift and numbers remain encouraging, though as usual a realism check is best used when viewing growth oriented official statistics.
