Narai Reflags Mai Khao Resort To Marriott

Thai-based Narai Hospitality Group has reflagged their 244 key Mai Khao resort in Phuket to Marriott under the Le Meridien brand.

The property which was formerly managed by IHG as a Holiday Inn, has been substantially refurbished and will reopen in September of this year.

Under the new agreement, Narai will operate the resort under a franchise agreement with Marriott.

As a number of legacy hotel management agreements are coming to an end over the next few years in Phuket, C9 Hotelworks forecasts more conversions in Phuket and also a migration from management to franchises.
