New Anantara For Greater Phuket

Category: Hotels, Posted:04 Jun 2022 | 09:05 am

A new-build 148-key Anantara Koh Yao Yai Resort is set to open this year by December 2022.

The project is being developed by Thai group Soraya Development, which also has properties in Krabi.

Features of the resort are a combination of pool villas and suites in low-rise blocks.

Located in Phang Nga Bay, the area has significantly raised its profile with Thai guests during the pandemic with resorts such as Treehouse Villas, Santhiya, and Six Senses.

Four Seasons reportedly has a new upcoming resort on Naka Island with Singapore’s HPL as developer.

Most properties in Phang Nga Bay despite not being in Phuket province use the island’s international airport gateway, hence the tag Greater Phuket.
