A new international airport has opened this week in one of Southeast Asia’s rising tourism islands, Bohol in the Philippines.
Tagged as the Panglao International Airport, the new facility is operational and makes the former aviation gateway at Tagbilaran redundant.
Expectations are the for the handling of over 2 million passengers per year going forward.
The shift of the airport to the Panglao area is expected to great a boom in the nearby vicinity and catchment area, which is a growing resort destination.
