New Matalay Khao Lak Integrated Destination Resort Enlarges Footprint

Khao Lak is entering a pivotal new phase of growth as KS Hotels confirms Matalay as the site of its next flagship development. The group has secured a 22-rai (3.5 hectares) absolute beachfront plot beside the under-construction Memories Surf Village, where plans for a next-generation, dual-branded project are now being finalized.

Regional integration is also accelerating. Through strategic land acquisitions and industry facilitation by HCA, KS Hotels’ new holdings will link JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa and Matalay into a single connected destination by December — forming a unified Resort Town stretching across 1,260 rai (201 hectares) with 1.4 km of pristine Andaman Sea frontage.

KS Hotels brings an impressive track record to the table, with landmark assets such as Park Hyatt Maldives, Park Hyatt Siem Reap, JW Marriott Surfers Paradise, Hyatt Regency Phuket and JW Marriott Khao Lak reinforcing the significance of this next chapter for the region.
