Nok Air Looks For Myanmar Niche

Thai airline Nok Air is continuing to look for a core market in order to wedge itself into the space dominated by AirAsia, Bangkok Airway and Thai Airway International.
It has announced new flights to Myanmar's Mawlamyine and Mae Sot starting in September.
Later in the year flights from Mae Sot to Yangon and Don Mueang to Yangon.
For the new flights to tertiary destinations in Myanmar the airline will use its Nok Mini affiliate and use a Saab 340B turboprop aircraft.
